Supporting surviving spouses and children of our fallen. Leave no one behind.
Spreading hope TO and THROUGH hearts in need.
The Aaron Grider Foundation (AGF) is a ministry-based organization connecting people and creating opportunities to serve. AGF seeks to partner, empower, and assist “orphans and widows in their affliction” (James 1:27). By building bridges for the surviving spouses and children of United States fallen service members, AGF seeks to spread hope to and through hearts in need — to remind and renew the spirit and to participate in a greater story being told, a story larger than ourselves.
AGF provides opportunities for families of fallen soldiers to gather in community to address their grief and learn to live in the “new normal”. The foundation also seeks to re-energize grieving families through service to those less fortunate. Finally, AGF provides congregational resources for those who wish to support Gold Star families in their own church bodies and communities.
AGF’s mission is achieved by the shared efforts of a devoted staff, Board of Directors, and dedicated volunteers to include surviving spouses, soldiers, veterans, and civilians who honor our military heroes and their families who give the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom and protection of others.
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” —James 1:27
